The editor has two modes of interaction – The View Mode and the Edit Mode. You can toggle between the two modes by using the top two icons in the Edit Toolbar.

View Tool

In View Mode, you experience the project as an Viewing User. That means that when you click an object in the 3D-world, or a button in the interface, the interaction is the same as for a Viewing User. For example, in View Mode if you click the Project Info Ribbon Button the Project Info Details Window is opened. If you click a Point of Interest, the Details Window of that POI is shown.

Edit Tool

With the Edit Tool you select objects by clicking them. In this mode if you click a Point of Interest, the Properties Window of that POI appears and you can move, scale, and set properties for that object. If you click a Ribbon Button, the Properties Window for that interface button is shown and lets you edit the button.
