Sundbyberg lies just north of Stockholm. It is the smallest and most densely populated municipality in the whole of Sweden. A ‘reality model’ was created by Terratec, using ContextCapture by @BentleySystems, to render the entire cityscape in brilliant 3D.

OpenCities Planner was used by Sundbyberg Municipality to visualise an architectural competition. Visitors can use layer buttons to select and view the different options in 3D.

Setting up a comparison project

It’s dead simple to create such a project. What you’ll want to do is make an exclusive Layer to house each option. Now the visitor can activate each Layer to quickly and easily compare the alternatives from any perspective in the Virtual World.
