Export 3D lets you export a piece of your 3D geometry from your project. It supports exporting terrain models, reality models, 3D city models, trees and everything else that is 3D geometry in your project.

Settings

• Title
  Choose a unique name so as to best keep track of different files. They’ll appear in the File Section for 30 days after creation.
• File Type & File Options
  Choose KMZ or Collada output format and weather to get the export as a combined file or single files for each geometry object within your selected area.
• Quality
  The quality affects how large area you can export.
• Create Terraform
  Check this option if you’d like the exported area to be replaced with a flat terraform upon creation. This can be useful if e.g. you plan to edit the area and re-import your changes.
• Clear nodes
  Resets the nodes in the map. 

Selecting an area to export

• Click the map to create nodes, defining your area.
• Double-click to close the area, an area needs to be ‘complete’ before the Export button becomes available.
• Click Export.

Downloading the export

After you click export, the data will be prepared on the server. This can take a while. You will receive an email notification when the data is ready. Your exported files will also be available in the Export 3D tool interface for 30 days.
