Interactions: Multiselect

Good news everyone!

We updated our Interactions tool and added a new feature to it, MultiselectAs you can imagine, this lets you select multiple objects at once. No more hiding buildings or trees by clicking on the objects one by one! Here is how it works:

Open the Interactions window, then click the Add Interaction button.

Add a name and select the type of the interaction you want to make.  Read more on Interactions to know what each type does.

Shortcuts

  • null
    SHIFT – make a rectangle and select everything inside of it
  • null
    CTRL – add a single object to the selection
  • null
    ALT – remove a single object from the selection
  • null
    SHIFT + CTRL – add a rectangle full of objects to the previous selection
  • null
    SHIFT + ALT – remove a rectangle full of objects from the previous selection
  • null
    CLICK ON SCREEN – to deselect

PROTIP

The terrain can also change visibility via Interactions, to be sure not to select it by accident, move the terrain object into a different layer and then turn on Edit Lock. This will prevent you from selecting the terrain while using the Multiselect.
