Terraforming is manipulating the terrain model used in your project. The terraform only affects the terrain in the project that created the terraform.

You can either Draw your own polygon or upload a shape file that defines the areas you want to affect.

  • Drawing
Click nodes to form a polygon for the area you want to terraform. Double click to finish drawing the polygon. You can also easily modify nodes after creating them, by clicking the line to add a new one or choose ALT + Click to remove one.
  • Uploading
Upload a shapefile with all the related files (.shp, .dbf and .shx)
  • Styling
You can set a color and opacity for the polygon. If you don’t want to see the polygon then set the opacity to zero.
The Height field sets the absolute altitude that you want to push the terrain within the polygon.
You can turn the terraform on/off in the property window.
If you used a shapefile, you can map the styling to attributes in the shapefile.
